Hypothyroidism may cause Depression

Depression is one of many
hypothyroidism symptoms.1

Feeling sad when things aren’t going well or after a major loss is normal. However, sadness or a lack of interest in doing things that persists for no particular reason may suggest another cause. If you are suffering from depression, it may be indicative of an undiagnosed thyroid condition.
